When the day is finally over, when the sky started orange, turned bright blue and ended fiery red, it is time to take it all in. Sitting by the campfire reminiscing about the day – then something magical happens. Over on the distant horizon, trees silhouetted, rising like a bright beacon across the African veld is something magical.

Experienced across the globe, with a gravitational pull that moves oceans, we give tribute to this celestial wonder. And when you are in the wild African wilderness, there is nothing quite like a bush moon rising.

Bushmoon Safaris is a privately owned 8000-acre property with 7.5 kilometers river frontage which allows us the luxury of a 14-seater Barge to cruise the river with. We are in a position where we have our own private landing strip on the property for any guest that wishes to fly into Bushmoon Safaris.

The lodge and chalets are newly built and will be ready for our first guests in May 2023,we decided to go green with our lodge and therefore our lodge and accommodation is off the grid, with this said we also have access to the 5^th largest nature reserve (Big 5) in South Africa for a break from hunting with spectacular game viewing through a camera lens this all within a 5-minute drive from our entrance.

We believe that having our own Trauma Paramedic on site is a game changer with evacuation by either Ambulance or Air dependent on Medical Aid Cover, safety remains a high priority for Bushmoon Safaris.
